The GT5000 Portable Multi-Parameter Soil Respiration Measurement System is a portable, high-precision soil greenhouse gas emission monitoring system based on Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) technology from Gasmet, Finland. The instrument can simultaneously measure several major greenhouse gas components, such as N2O, CH4, CO2, H2O, CO and NH3, within seconds and with an accuracy of up to ppb. The GT5000 Portable Multi-Parameter Soil Respiration Measurement System can be used to measure greenhouse gas fluxes in a wide range of environments, such as farmland, wetlands, forests, pastureland, power plants, and fire scenes.

The GT5000 is equipped with the powerful Calcmet software, which supports online viewing of measurement results and comparison and analysis of previous measurements. The portable automated soil respiration chamber is a soil respiration measurement device that collects and measures gases from the soil, allowing for on-the-go, multi-point measurements of soil greenhouse gas fluxes. The soil respiration system is fitted with a portable handle and can be carried easily.
