The 9th International Symposium for Young Scholars on Terrestrial Ecology, hosted and organized by the College of Ecology, Northeast Forestry University, grandly opened at Northeast Forestry University in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, on July 29, 2025. With the theme of "Terrestrial Ecology and Artificial Intelligence," the symposium focused on core ecological topics such as ecosystem carbon-nitrogen-water cycling processes and ecological restoration under global change, as well as hot issues including how to deeply integrate these with the powerful data processing, analysis, and prediction capabilities of artificial intelligence.
