The 9th National Frontier Forum on Population Ecology was grandly held in Guiyang from November 16 to 17, 2024. The forum was jointly hosted by the Population Ecology Professional Committee of the Ecological Society of China and the College of Forestry, Guizhou University. With the theme of "Population Ecology · Green Development," the forum aimed to explore academic frontiers in population ecology, exchange the latest research findings, strengthen academic exchange and cooperation in ecology in China, promote deep integration of innovative research and the ecological industry, and advance national ecological civilization construction and high-quality socioeconomic development. The forum featured one plenary session and three parallel sessions for young scholars, covering multiple fields including the development of the population ecology discipline system, biodiversity conservation, ecological invasion and restoration, and population theory and applications. The successful holding of the forum will help advance the development of ecosystem operation mechanisms, provide scientific references for formulating ecological protection measures, and is of great significance for promoting theoretical research in ecology, enhancing the level of ecological governance, and realizing the modernization of harmony between humanity and nature.
Our company was invited to attend the conference, where we exhibited and promoted our research instruments on site and engaged in exchanges with attending experts and scholars.
