From September 18 to 21, 2026, the Second National Plant Ecology Conference and the Editorial Board Meeting of Chinese Journal of Plant Ecology were grandly held at the South Campus of Inner Mongolia University (Hohhot). As a professional service provider in the field of ecological and environmental research instruments, Beijing Eco-mind Technology Co., Ltd. supported the conference with its soil carbon cycle and greenhouse gas flux measurement solutions, engaging in in-depth exchanges with experts and scholars in the field of plant ecology from across the country.
The conference was jointly hosted by Chinese Journal of Plant Ecology, the Plant Ecology Professional Committee of the Botanical Society of China, and Inner Mongolia University, and organized by multiple institutions including the School of Ecology and Environment of Inner Mongolia University and the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Ecology and Resource Use of the Mongolian Plateau (Inner Mongolia University). The academic committee of the conference was composed of several academicians and renowned scholars, including Fang Jingyun, Yu Guirui, Liu Shirong, Zhu Jiaojun, and Ma Keping. Focusing on frontier topics in plant ecology, the conference set up eight thematic sessions: Plant Physiological Ecology and Functional Traits; Plant-Microbe Interactions; Soil Carbon Cycling; Vegetation Ecology and Biodiversity; Vegetation 3D and AI Technology Development and Application; Ecosystem Remote Sensing Observation and Simulation; Monitoring, Protection and Restoration of Typical Fragile Ecosystems; and Ecological Function Evolution and Global Change.
