The LK-1250 RootBox Plant Rhizobox Imaging System

No.LK-1250
The LK-1250 RootBox Plant Rhizobox Imaging System is specifically designed for long-term continuous non-destructive measurement of plant roots under controlled conditions. Plants are cultivated in rhizoboxes with transparent bottoms, which are tilted at a fixed angle on supports. Due to gravity, the root systems primarily distribute along the transparent panel of the rhizobox. Integrated with a professional rhizobox imaging system, it enables continuous tracking and measurement of root system changes throughout the entire plant growth cycle. The image analysis software can measure various root parameters, including root length, diameter, surface area, biomass, and topological architecture. Additionally, specialized porous soil pore water micro-probes can be installed on the back of the rhizobox to extract rhizosphere soil solution, facilitating the study of plant-soil interactions.

SPECIFICATION

The Plant Rhizobox Imaging System is a photographic imaging system. The resolution, imaging area, and shooting distance are pre-configured before delivery, allowing users to directly place the rhizobox into the imaging position to obtain complete and clear root images. Multiple root analysis software options are available for subsequent evaluation.
