The LK-2104 Portable Soil CO2/CH4/N2O/H2O Gas Flux Measurement System is primarily designed for in-situ measurement of soil respiration rates. Additionally, it can be connected to static chambers to measure community photosynthesis or net ecosystem exchange (NEE). Gas flux measurements typically include those at the plant leaf-atmosphere interface, soil surface-atmosphere interface, and ecosystem-atmosphere interface. The main control module can integrate data from analysis modules, barometric pressure, temperature and humidity sensors, GPS, and other sources to control system operation and calculate gas fluxes or respiration rates based on customer requirements. The gas analysis module is standardly equipped with a Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS) CO2/CH4 analysis module and a mid-infrared N2O analysis module, which detect the characteristic infrared "fingerprint" absorption spectra of target gases, offering advantages such as high sensitivity, high resolution, rapid response, and non-contact monitoring.
