The LK-1200 Pro RootScanPlus Benchtop 3D Root System Analyzer is specifically designed for rotary imaging of washed root samples. It enables continuous, high-throughput 2D and 3D imaging and analysis of plant root systems, with a capacity to measure hundreds of plant samples per day. The system allows continuous rotary imaging of roots from different angles as required. Integrated with professional control software and image analysis capabilities, it can measure parameters such as total root length, diameter, surface area, biomass, as well as 3D root topological features including root depth, top root width, bottom root width, and maximum root layer width. Additionally, the instrument is equipped with a barcode scanner to automatically generate image names for root samples, saving measurement time. This analyzer is widely applicable in research and teaching activities across agronomy, biology, ecology, crop science, horticulture, and related disciplines.
